Douglas Noel
Adams was born on 11th of March 1952 in Cambridge. His father name was Christopher
Douglas Adams and his mother name was Janet Adams. He married to Jane Belson on
November 24 1991 and the couple has a daughter named Polly Jane Rocket Adams
born on June 22, 1994.
From 1959
until 1970 he went to Brentwood school in Essex, and his main interest was
science. In 1970 he left school to become a writer and worked with Graham
Chapman and John Lloyd and published a small work which was not more famous.
Adams was a
great fan of music. He admires the music from Bach to Pink Floyd, Procul Harum
and the Beatles. This music featured in his novels; he himself played the
guitar and had a collection of 24 left handed guitars when he died.
He was a
great author. Douglas Adams was a bestselling author of the popular Science
fiction. He also wrote the Dirk Gently novels and a nonfiction book, "Last
Chance to See", about endangered species. He also wrote many quotes on
different topics. His most famous quote is given below,
"I may not have gone where I
intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.”
On 11th
of May 2001 Adams went to the local gym to work out. There he suffered a
massive heart attack and all attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
