Dolly Rebecca Parton was born on 19th of January 1946 in Sevierville, Tennessee, USA. Dolly grew up on a run-down farm in Locust Ridge, Tennessee. Her father name was Robert Lee Parton and her mother name was Avie Lee Owens. She fell in love with Carl Dean, who ran an asphalt-paving business; they got married on 30 May 1966.
