Angela Anaïs Juana Antolina Rosa Edelmira Nin y Culmell,professionally known as Anaïs Nin was born on 21st February 1903 inNeuilly, France.
Her father name was Joaquin Nin and her mother name was Rosa Culmell.Hugh Parker Guiler was Anaïs Nin's husband from 1923 until her death in 1977and on March 17, 1955 she married to Rupert Pole and she kept her marriage toGuiler secret from Pole for 11 years.
She spent her childhood and early life in Europe. She moved with her mother to New York City, where she attended high school and she dropped out of high school in 1919 at the age of sixteen.
She was a French-American diarist, essayist, novelist, and writer of short stories and erotica. She is most famous because of her diaries and journals, which she began writing in her adolescence.
